I know there was probably only 4 people watching the Canes-Panthers game on Vs. but Cole was taken off on a stretcher with about 7 min left. He was conscious and speaking, but it took \'em nearly 10 minutes to get him off the ice after putting him on a board, strapping him down, and wheelin\' him off. With past neck issues, it would be hard to believe he\'d be back anytime soon.
What\'s weird is it didn\'t seem to be that big of a collision. He lost a skate and plowed head-first into Vokoun, but it must have been a bad angle or something. No boards or pipe involved, just leg pads from what I could tell. |

Thanks for the heads up - I was just about to post that on here and saw that you beat me to it!

it might have just been precautionary given his history. He was moving his extremities, which looked like a good sign to me. A scary moment

He was put on IR today, 7-10 days until recovery.
