What do you guys think? I\'d be getting the Sedin twins.
Oh yeah, it\'s a 1 year h2h league. |

Will you have to put a player on the waiver if you trade one guy for two?
Anyway, expect the Sedin\'s to combine something like 150-160 pts. Thornton will never do that alone. Hopes that helps you. |

Sure the Sedin twins combined will outscore Jumbo Joe alone, but you\'ll only need a 45-55pt player with Thornton to be roughly equal. No way I\'d give up Thornton for both twins.

I would do it. You are getting two guys that will forsurely put up points compared to one. What happens if Joe goes down, then you have your 45 point getter still that you were going to drop. This way you get 2-80 point players for 1-100 point guy..
I hope this all makes sense to you, HA! Let\'s us know what happens. Goodluck POD. Z..

I\'ve heard vaguely of the anti 2 for 1 argument before, but this is just too hard too pass up...

It\'s about quality over quantity and I can see what this guy is diong by offering you this trade... I pulled off a couple of those in my own pool this year. So now I\'ve got 3 top 10 scorers on my team and I\'ve supplemented off the waiver wire.
I love offering 2 for 1 deals but I\'d never accept one. |

Very tough call but if your league counts FW than I\'d hold on to big Joe. He\'s bank in late march/april if and or when you make the playoffs.

agreed on the questions for who you\'ll have to drop in order for this to happen...
i\'m also wondering if YOU wanted the twins, or they were offered to you. could you pick two other guys from a more potent team instead?

Ok, so it\'s a pretty deep league. I\'d be dropping somebody like Richard Zednik to make room.
I was the one pushing for the Sedin twins...I don\'t think I could pull too much more either way. I guess I still don\'t understand how this isn\'t a slam dunk for me. If somebody could trouble themselves to spell out a little clearer why 2 is not nessecarily better than 1 in this instance, it would be greatly appreciated. |
