Hello guys,

Can you give me your advice on this ? I have to choose my 8 starters for the first round. Seven are a lock, in my opinion :

Marleau, Teemu, Drury, Langkow, Henrik Sedin, Kariya and Brad Richards.

Now, I hesitate for the final spot : Nabby, Lehtonen, Phaneuf or Radulov.

Here\'s the point system :
Forward : 2 points a goal, 1 an assist ;
D-Man : 3 points a goal, 1 an assist ;
Goalie : 2 points a win, 3 extra a shutout.

Since I think the Sharks will win their series, Nabokov is a good pick, but then there\'s Phaneuf, who could pay big time. And Radulov could explode too, even though I\'m not sure about the way Trotz will use him. Then I like Lehtonen, but I\'m not sure the Thrashers will beat the Blueshirts ; this one is too mysterious.

Anyway, who would you select ? (If a starter is eliminated from the playoffs, we can bring in a replacement in the second round, so the fact, for example, that Richards plays against the Devils is not really a factor, here.)

4win = 8points minimum, and its gonna be better than phaneuf

i agree , mainly because i feel the sharks are going to travel a long way in the playoffs.phaneuf would be my next choice because of your point system.

I would go with Phaneuf if you can reset your lineup after the first round. I say this because for a D-man to get eight points, it would only take 2 goals and 2 assists. I don\'t see SJ shuting out Nashville at all so you only need to equal eight points. I think Phanuef can get two and two...
