Another player ended up accepting my offer of my E. Staal + Brunette for his Marian Hossa + Kopitar.

I figured there\'s a shortage of top RW compared to C\'s so would take the risk on trading a hot Staal and hope Hossa returns to stud form.

What are ppl\'s thoughts? (My previous deal was for Heatley, and I\'m gonna see if I can parlay Biron into another top forward).

Great deal. When Hossa gets it together, he\'s every bit as good as Staal is...and he\'s a winger. Brunette will continue to score as long as he plays with players like Sakic, Stastny, Hejduk, Smyth, etc., but he doesn\'t have the youth or skill that Kopitar does. In a one year league, Brunette and Kopitar are probably close to even. In a keeper, it\'s a killing.
