Hmm... Hemsky.

I'd flip him for Niskanen if I could. Way more upside.

solid team - will get better numbers out of some of your key players (Datsyuk, Ward, Mason) next year.

So angus.. love when you do this but i havent really be making any posts just loving your knowledge on everyone elses issues. great stuff keep it up.

however, not so much a question but more of a pep talk towards my team and me.
Do i make changes or just let it all play out?

Its a 12 team league 25 man rosters we assign contract legnths and $ to players based on when they were drafted. basically for this I keep all and I am at the cap $95. so trading is very hard for me right now. It is h2h with nightly lineups, we play 4c,4lw,4rw,6d,2g and a bench to make 25. Stats are: G A +/- PIM PPP SHP SOG W GAA SV% SHO.

I am in first with a 16 point lead. first 2 weeks i lost and was in 9th but then went on a crazy 10-0 (winning every week) putting me in first and staying there. Early on i made trades to keep my team active and going but now that im at the cap its hard and i am sitting back trying to keep my lead. I lost 2 weeks ago for the first time then won then lost to a team in 8th place. this week im also having a hard go at it.

so basically do i just stand or run around trying for something, since other teams are retooling for the stretch run.

my roster:
Center : E.Staal, Datsyuk, Getzlaf, Arnott, Steen
RW: Ryan(lw,rw), Hossa, Guerin, Horton(c,rw), Fleischmann(rw,lw), Downie
LW: Kovalchuk, Marleau(c,lw), O'sullivan, Carcillo, Mcleod
Defense : E.Johnson, Montador, Goligoski, Niedermayer, Russell, Adrian Aucoin(IRR)
Goalies: Lundqvist, Brodeur, Kiprusoff

you have answered questions before on this team and league so you should know it. but thanks for your help. and it could just be a bad week bc - horton is now IR, goligoski and guerin are injured and montador and o'sully are being scrathed, and my goalies are sucking big time. so yeah what are your thoughts..

Montador has been awful all season. I think his fantasy value, even with PIM, is gone.

Goli has been a disappointment and injury prone this year but I like his upside. Horton was looking great, no sense in moving him now.

Looks like a contending team to me. Not much depth at LW, and defense is a bit suspect, but strong RW, C, G.

thanxs, yeah i was hoping that o'sully would be a big surprise and be a 60-75 point player and would have filled out my LW depth but we all know that hasnt happened yet. Also i drafted my 3 goalies early on so i figured id target specific stats later on in the draft and thats why i went with carcillo and mcleod. figured land top scores where i can and then top PIM where i can. so figured as a 3rd and 4th LW might as well use them as PIM goons. and i have a 200 PIM lead in the league eventhough its h2h which translates to a 13-3 in that stat

I did have anderson early on and moved him and clarkson for hossa which has paid off alot (especially bc clarkson has been our every since i moved him).

Also yeah my defense is a bit weak. montador i got in a trade that landed me getzlaf and a top 3 pick in the 2010 draft so it was a ryan whitney/montador defense swap. montador has been a bit upsetting but he has his times and adds SOG and some PIM so it has helped until now ofcourse.

Rated #3 in fantasy roto-goaltending....Proving how valuable he is to an anemic Florida team, and combined with his notorious 2H performances in the past 4-years, is it safe to bet that he will remain top-5 roto-G in the second half? Florida looks much better this year with breakout seasons from multiple players and an improved defensive core........

My entire season will rest on this one trade. Is Vokoun for real?
