So any thoughts on Vanek from here out?

Thanks
I'd do the same - give him a few more weeks and go from there.

With Varlamov coming back soon, who do you think I should drop, S Mason or Halak. My other goalies are Luongo and Howard.

Also, I tend to keep one roster spot open for players on hot streaks, the latest being Ryan Shannon. Are there any other low key players out there i might look to during the stretch run>?
tough calll... keeper league?

Around the deadline, look for young guys or 3rd liners on bad teams. Guys like Stalberg - if/when Leafs deal Poni, Hagman, etc, spots on scoring lines open up

D - Goligoski, Letang, Wideman, Gilbert, Ballard, Bieksa (IR)
G - Thomas, Fleury

As you can tell my d corps is pretty awful. Can I get by with this? Or should I try shopping Kopitar or even Ovie? If I could trade Ovie for a package including a guy like Boyle should I go for it?

Appreciate it!
don't trade Ovie. Wait until Kopi heats up again, and then shop him. Maximize return. You need some help on D, Wideman and Gilbert have been awful, and Letang too. Goli should pick it up though

edit - one more haha: will colo, pho or LA make the playoffs this year?
Hemsky

No idea - really depends how he plays down the stretch

Phoenix and LA for sure. Colorado will have to slump big time to fall back, but I can definitely see them slipping out of contention.

Thanks.
he gets lots of PP time (well not lots, but some). I'd go for it.

I am currently in second last place and falling from grace. I am wondering what I should do with my add/drop. Do I pick up a Penner, Afinoganov, Malone, Fisher, Hartnell and a slew of other people I probably will not protect for next year's roster or do I go for the prospect? Current players available for my add/drop that listed on Dobber's prospect list are Benn, Turris, Hodgson, Boedker, M. Backlund, Eberle and pretty much everone on that list below Eberle.

Any words of wisdom and useful advise?

I can also tell you that my team did look better at the start of the year and I traded away Letang, Pronger, Huselius, McCabe and A. Kosti tsyn for 2nd, 3rd and 4th round draft picks next year (and the other team's garbage) as I would not have been able to protect any of them except for Letang.

Cheers!
seems like you are already rebuilding, so no reason to add a veteran. Benn is already in the show, but he may lack the upside of Eberle or Backlund. Hartnell may be intriguing as well, but there are rumors Philly may move him. Go for Eberle, worst case is you can deal him based on his amazing WJC

Would you rather have Vokoun or Howard?

Which of Thomas, Huet or Rask would you want?

Thanks!
Kipper

Vokoun

Huet (for this season, Rask steals too many TT starts)

which ones would be the best keepers? breif explanation would be greatly appreciated.
W, SV%, GAA, SHO

S.Mason
S.Varlamov
J.Gustavsson
J.Markstrom
M.Neuvirth
T.Rask
J.Halak
J.Harding
Rask is the best, but won't be starting in BOS for at least 3 years. Markstrom I like after him, but still a risk b/c unproven. Washington guys will split I think until one takes the spot.

Halak is the best bet, he either starts in MTL or forces trade

1) Halak
2) Rask
3) Markstrom

What do you think of this trade. 20 team keeper league points only.

I receive: Kessel/Grabovski/Greene

He receives: Eriksson/Stafford/Poti

Your thoughts are appreciated.
looks good to me. Kessel is pure offensive player, Eriksson more of a two-way guy.
