I have to disagree with you for the first time I like Smoak over Hochevar. It would be bench-spot for bench-spot, but at least Smoak might be able help you out. My opinion

Then again, pitching depth might be a problem in your league. Hm.

Surprised its only the first time haha. But taking a look at his lineup, you can at least run Hochevar out every five days. Don't think you're playing Smoak over Davis once Miggy qualifies for third.

That being said if you prefer to have Smoak on your bench and there's a shortage of first baseman and think you can trade Davis (or you may even have to IR him), by all means, Smoak definitely has some big upside.
