man berni, that's a tough one...
last year everyone would have said the Malkin/Spezza side for sure, but Spezza has looked terrible this year and hasn't bounced back the way people predicted, and then he gets injured! the way most people do the numbers they would argue that a healthy Spezza should be good for 80 pts and Malkin can score 140 or more (so 220 total) vs Sedin 80-90 and Heatley for 100 (190 total). Personally I think Malkin will avg in the 100-120 range most of his career simply because the Pens have another center who is pretty good that will share scoring with him. anyway I know I'm not giving you a very good answer but I would say that the Malkin/Spezza side has the higher upside but that the Heatley/Sedin side is more of a sure and steady thing since I worry about Spezza, his injury history, what will happen when Alfie retires, etc.

As Mcgoo said, this IS a toughy!
I have Heatley and H.Sedin in my points only keeper and Im asking myself if I would trade them for Malkin and Spezza..... I dont think I would. You know what your getting with Heatley and H.Sedin, but Spezza has a big question mark over his head. Pretty much I'm saying the same thing as Mcgoo....Heatley and H.Sedin is the more sure thing, 160 points in the bag. |

Do not pass on the opportunity to get Malkin in a keeper league or you will regret it. His value right now is most likely the lowest it is going to be for the rest of his career. Take the Malkin side and run with it.
