Doesn\'t look like he\'s been on the ice at all in the third... anyone know if he was hurt, or just being benched for bad play?

News: Penguins D Ryan Whitney was held out of the third period Thursday against the Avalanche after injuring his groin. He did not record a point in 12:09 of ice time and finished with a minus-1 rating.

Analysis: The Penguins haven\'t divulged the severity of the injury yet, so Whitney remains day-to-day at this juncture. He has three goals, three assists and a minus-3 rating in 12 games. Whitney has put together two solid seasons in the NHL and appears headed for another impressive season barring serious injury. He is a must-start Fantasy option when healthy.
