What's more likely to happen:

A) Steve Mason recovers his stellar form from last season and end the season on a high note.

B) Hitchcock is fired mid-season, and the new coach inspires the Blue Jackets on a run deep into the playoffs a la Blysma and the Pens. (Then Filatov returns, and there is much rejoicing.)

C) Hitchcock runs the Blue Jackets and Mason's confidence into the ground, and both flounder for the rest of their NHL careers...however short or long that may be.

Thanks in advance!

hmmm... I like Stralman to get 30-35 this year, and 40-45 next. Voracek should hover around 50-65 depending on PP time... Vermette is a tough call. On pace for 60 right now... I'll say 55-65 he should be in and around any given year. Might flick a switch and become 70+ guy, he has the talent.

Thanks Angus!
Could put up 30 points... I wouldn't have him on my radar right now...

Wideman.

David Perron - what a goal the other night! His stickhandling skills and 1-on-1 ability seem to be really high-end, but is his upside as limited as is typically discussed here (70-75ish)? Any comments on him and how his future looks would be appreciated.

Cheers Angus.
I am really high on him. Has 90+ upside... maybe not in Florida but he should develop into at least a PPG guy there.

Huge spread... Perron could be a 65-70 guy or he could be a 90 guy. Just depends on consistency.

Matt Carkner, wondering if you've seen him play and if he'll keep putting up the nice points/PIM.

Thanks Angus!
Nope.

Yea, he has impressed me. Is a great option with the PIM he will get.

Not sure... Ott way more limited role obviously, but that was to be expected.

I get the benefit of hindsight... 4 assists....

The Question: What are you thoughts on this guy compared to other young D-Men like Strahlman, Quincey, Letang or Del Zotto?
Because he is a talented offensive d-man on a team that will score lots of goals. On other teams his value may not be that high.

Compared to those d-men... I like him over all of them except MDZ
