We get points for G, A, +/-, PIM and SOG.
I got Semin in a trade while he was on the IR so I need to drop someone to activate him. High on my list are Naslund, Comrie, Parise or Pomminville with Comrie and Naslund being my picks. Comrie should be an obvious choice I think, but he\'s out played Naslund so far and I can only see him improving, while Naslund should be about the same as last year. +/- is a consideration, but it\'s a tough choice. Any help would be great! Thanks.

You are assuming Semin will start out productive and I think it might be wise to wait a game or two to see how things pan out for him. You will then get to look at the other guys just a little more as well.
However at the end of the day I think that Naslund is the guy to go - he has the least upside for this year in my mind - his days as a fantasy force are pretty much over I think. He will flash now and then but will not perform steadily at a high level while the other 3 you mention could very well. Parise for sure is about to give you some good stuff I think - Devils are finally going home.

Like Shoeless says. Wait a game or two on Semin before activating him, especially when he is playing against a defensive team like Vancouver. A General rule of thumb is to give a guy 1+ plus games grace period(depending on the severity of the injury) before activating him. Alot of guys come back waaaay too early & are ineffective and play the rest of the season with a nagging injury.
Naslund is the guy to go. His best years are behind him & Vancouver has switched to a defense oriented system & the Sedins are the key offensive players.

Thanks for confirming what I suspected.
Thing is with the schedule I need to choose between Naslund and Semin. I got Naslund with my second last pick so I felt that at that spot he might be good value. Since then I trade Gomez for Semin and picked up Comrie to replace Avery, who was my last pick. So essentially I somehoe turned Avery and Naslund into Comrie and Semin with my 2 last picks - not bad. I still can\'t figure out what I think of Comrie for the year. Are we thinking a 60 point cap for him? Or more? In the end I can always drop him when Sulivan returns so I don\'t lose much and Recchi is still a free agent somehow... cross my fingers I can dump Comrie for Selanne and put this pool away. Thanks again guys (and gals?)

Dream on about Selanne - I don\'t think he will be helping any fantasy or real hockey team this year.
Anyway Semin easily over Naslund.
