I\'ve been Jonesing on Hemsky for a while and I have a hole at RW. Am I sane in dropping Poti for Hemsky and rolling with 3 D? I\'ve been waiting for WSH PP to kick in. I suppose I could wait a bit longer or wait until Yahoo gives Avery RW eligibility/Havlat comes back. Arghh. I\'ve written several posts on my RW hole but we have limited moves in our league so I can\'t make too many mistakes. Someone help me put this issue to bed!
Much appreciated.

I would drop a D for a F like Hemsky in a second as the points just can\'t compare.
Hemsky might be a +/- problem, but so is Poti so who cares? I dropped a D right off the bat and picked up an extra goalie for the points though so it may be a personal thing...

I suppose you are hanging with Avery for his PIM\'s? Is he on IR on your team? With Prospal and Rolston both now having LW eligibility it seems like you have far more coverage at LW than you need (6 players) - would a trade be out of line here for some RW help or is that considered a move as well?
I am glad I don\'t have Havlat - I really wonder if he will have any value this year. Too good to dump and might be a waste to keep - what a dilemma. Anyway I think Hemsky is far too good a hockey player to be sitting on FA in a 12 team league. Especially when you are looking at only 1 guy that can play the position for you at this time. I think I would cut Avery loose if there is no IR - you have Jokinen, Savard, Morrow and this year Redden who take very good PIM\'s - otherwise Poti I guess - although may come back to haunt you and I would not take the chance.

Thanks for the advice. I made the Poti move. I only have 1 IR spot and Havlat is in it. Would you believe I dealt with this same scenario last year with Gaborik!?! I would like to see what Avery can do on the 2nd line. If he excells I would package him and someone else to a team that needs PIMs.
As for Poti, I hear he is now DTD. Plus, I think I was putting too many eggs in the WSH basket. When WSH scores on the PP - I will get points from Ovechkin and Semin. Plus, guys like Salo and Weber are available on the FA so I could always fix my hole on D that way should it become a problem.
