Here\'s my roto league team:

C: Sakic, Sedin, Boyes(RW)
LW: Kariya, Stillman, Carcillo
RW: Justin Williams, Horton (C)
D: Timonen, Chara, Murphy, Bouwmeester, Spacek
G: Luongo, Nabokov, Osgood
IR: Semin

Who would you drop to activate Semin. I think I would drop Carcillo because I\'l have too many LW, but I\'m far away in the PIMS category and I\'m afraid I might need him down the road. Is Osgood a better good candidate? I\'m not sure...

Any thoughts?

Carcillo, no brainer. Even with the PIMs, I don\'t know why so many people have him on their teams.

I think he explained that PIMs are an important category that he feels he needs to catch up on.

Now, I\'m assuming that you\'re starting 2 of each of the forward positions? What about Defense? Maybe getting rid of Bouwmeester might be an option?

Carcillo is really good in roto because he\'s a younger Avery. He can get you decent pts and getting you PIMS in the same time. 2G 2A -1 24PIMS 2PPP 16SOG so far this season. Can you ask more from a guy like him? That\'s why I really hesitate before dumping him.

I just got Bouwmeester two days ago. Like Shoeless and couple of others said, he\'s a slow starter and when he\'ll start getting points, I would be the one who owns it.

Osgood is also a valid choice but in the same time he\'s a really good 3rd goalie. However, I\'ve looked at the FA and found that Lehtonen is sitting there as well as LaBarbera, Smith, Theodore and Price. Since I currently have no real need for a 3rd goalie, I could possibly drop Osgood for Lehtonen and do the switch with my IR spot.

I have the same problem man.
I\'m in a head to head league. I have to choose between Parise, Naslund, Comrie or Pommenville to drop. I\'ve sort decided on one of Naslund or Comrie still not sure.

I could drop a D instead, but I somehow managed to draft, Rafalski, McCabe, Visnovsky and Lidsrom so I doubt any of those will go.

Any advice would be great. We get points for G, A, +/-, PP points, SOG and PIM.

For my case, with Hasek out for couple of games, Osgood seems to out of question. I think I would go with Carcillo and hope he\'ll still be there if I need him later on.

Why not? Tell me if him wrong, but I think I can see what you\'re thinking. He just came back from an injury and might take couple of games to be back on track. On top of this I have 3 good LW to take care of the job while he\'s away. Yup, that make sense!

and why are you starting Sakic in your roto league? you aren\'t in any hurry to get in your games - you are sitting pretty sweet in games played and building some advantage with games in hand - end of road trip for him and Kipper is still Kipper even if a little disquised right now. the Flames stand a pretty good chance of punching the Avs up.

I do think you have the luxury of waiting a little on Semin. Sometimes we leave some points on the bench but knowing he is back in the groove before you activate him might be the smart money.

The added strategic moves in Roto leagues. That is why I can\'t play Roto leagues, those damn Max games for each position. I always get that voice in my head, \&quot;should i bench him....but what if he blows up this game....i would be pissed if i benched him.....w/e, im playing him.\&quot; Next day, -1 no points...DAMN IT
