While AO is most likely going to be the 2nd leading scorer for years to come I like Hossa and Backstrom.
Hossa is a monster and with his contract coming to a close may end up with a real contender, leading to more pts. Backstrom will soon be playing with AO in the years to come and is aruguable the top prospect. He will put up similar pts to AO if they play together. Its a tough call but for a keeper I would go with Hossa and Backstrom.

I would keep Ovechkin, I never trade that guy for anybody... speacking of trades I concluded one today!!!
I gave Shneider and Radulov I received Alfredsson, Letang and J Johnson. My fellow poolers called this a steal for me what does everybody think? |

One thread at a time. Initial post...good trade for both sides I think. Top talent and top prospect = depth vs. top, top single player = quality keeper. I still like the AO side b/c of this, but a pretty good offer.
Second trade discussed... Alfredsson = top talent Letang/J. Johnson = future franchise D Radulov = top prospect Shneider = aging, injury prone D I like Radulov, but I think this is thievery also in favor of the side acquiring Alfredsson. Nicely done though! How on earth did you find someone that high on Radulov kool-aid?

Take Hossa & Backstrom any day. You are getting Hossa in a \"buy low\" situation. Snag before he gets traded to a contender and Backstrom looks to have a very bright future.

The answer depends on many factors. How many players you keep? How deep is the pool? In general Ovechkin should be the best bet. He\'s the best player out of the 3 and getting the best player in a trade, you rarely lose.
Trade #2: Don\'t have to say much. You got Alfie. Case Closed. |
