I have Timonen, Chara, Murphy, Spacek and Berard in my roto league:

Since Berard is out for 2-4 weeks and since I also own Spacek, should I drop Berard? If so, who should be a good pick:

Ranger
Hamhuis
Martin
Hamrlik

Bouwmeester is also there, but I\'m not sure if he\'s agood pick now but might be later on this season.

What do you guys think?

i think bouwmeester would be a good pickup, the other D you\'ve mentioned all have players competing with them for PP time.

ranger - kuba and boyle wen he returns
hamhuis - suter and weber wen he returns
martin - doesn\'t have as much competition so he could be worth a shot
Hamrlik - streit and markov

bouwmeester has murphy but bouwmeester from wut i\'ve seen since i\'ve had him the past 2 years is a really slow starter so i see him picking up the pace in the near future and if you wait longer for him he\'d probably be snatched up by then so personally i would take bouwmeester out of the group you listed.

I would take Bouwmeester as well. It is still early. He played over 25 minutes last night so it is just a matter of time for him.

On the Coyote bandwagon since 1996...

Chic - I am with the Bouwmeester pick-up - he may not find his game - but if he does you want to be the one who owns him. Berad is useful healthy but risky when he is injured because it could drag on all season.

I would say second choice is Ranger - over the next 6 weeks both the Panthers and Devils are rated to do pretty well.
