I\'ve already try to trade Gerber to the Emery owner but he didn\'t bite. Here\'s his team and here\'s the new trade I\'m thinking:

C: B. Richards, H. Sedin, S. Koivu, Brind\'Amour
LW: Tkachuk, S. Kozlov, Nagy, Brunette
RW: St. Louis, Cheechoo, Zubrus, Recchi
D: Boucher, Markov, Hainsey, Poti, Timonen, Hamrlik
G: Brodeur, Raycroft, Emery

Gerber/Gaborik for St-Louis

What do you guys think? Realistic trade? Am I giving too much? So I go for Cheechoo instead?

I really don\'t like this trade for you Chic for a couple of reasons - I think Gabbie could be more of a keeper asset than St. Louis and I think Gerber has some real value even as a backup on a very good team - however he may get traded to a starter role as well (doubt it but anything is possible).

If you truly want to pare down in goal then maybe offer the guy Gerber for a good D guy like Timo or Markov or Boucher 0 he might bite more easily and I think this improves and balances your team.

You\'re probably right. I was just tryin to improve my team. I think so far that my RW are a bit weak. Gabby and hopefully Hemsky will start their engine soon. I might also look for any RW FA pickup. Lupul comes to mind and maybe Boyes if he can get that RW elegilibity.

I never thought about upgrading my D squad though. Would you still offer the same guys for the one you mentionned?

Likely would offer him Gerber and Pitkanen for Raycroft and Timo or Markov or Boucher - then dump Raycroft and pick up Lupul

That would be good, but I\'ve already try this and he didn\'t bite. I\'m at a point that I might just keep Gerber for now and see what\'s happening there. Who knows what might happen with Emery... Then people should listen to me more!
