So a guy in my pool says to me "Patrick Kane is expendable for a top-pairing D." and that sounds a little too good to be true. I don't see much Hawks. But I know he's been a minus player the past 2 seasons, and he's plus now, and I wonder if maybe those pluses are a little flukey? And I'm watching the game tonight and I see he's playing with Bolland and Byfuglien. That doesn't sound great. And I also wonder if his production will taper when Hossa returns.
Does anyone who knows the Hawks well know any answers to these questions? And also, realistic points and +/- by the end of the season? Thanks.

Patrick Kane is a force. He was a minus-two last year, but he played half the year with a high ankle sprain, so I'm not sure that is a reasonable number to go by.
I'd guess 80-85 points and at least in the single plus digits this year.

Hey, thanks for the response. Maybe it is too good to be true then... any idea what lines will look like when Hossa returns?
