Hey folks,
I haven't had a chance yet to sign up to goaliepost. Does anyone know who the starting goalies are for: Minnesota (I have Backstrom) Chicago (I have Huet) and Washington (I have Varlamov) and if all of the above are starting which 2 should I dress? W and SO only. cheers six

Another good source of information I have been using: hockeyinformer.com's forums. Many of you probably used to frequent that site when it was updated regularly, but the mainpage hasn't been updated for over a year. On the other hand the forums are excellent and you can find latest goalie start information in one of the sticky threads in the forum's Fantasy Hockey section. Seems to me that they are nearly as good as goaliepost was last season, 86% accurate so far. That's pretty good for a free source.

fantasyhockey911.com all the way for me. I play in some money leagues and have to get my info early. I find they have all the probables just a little faster than most sources complete with links.
I mean, why the heck pay for goaliepost? It's just 1 guy waiting for goalie confirm links from users. I think it was the name of the site that got everone drinking that Kool-Aid. They were one of the least reliable sources, IMO. And to charge? WHAT NERVE! Hockeyinformer was decent years and years ago. Time has passed them by. People posting goalie probables in a forum makes me not want to trust the source. That same 86% someone said was good for a free site, well, fantasyhockey911 has something like a 99% rate and is free. Starting to sound like a salesmen for these guys..sorry. |

Leftwinglock is good too; they have Theodore and HUet confirmed, and Backstrom as the probable starter.
Personally, I'd go with Theo and Huet. Backstrom is the better goalie, but I think that Chicago and Washington have better chances to win than Minny does against SJ tonight. just my $.02

![]() And Goaliepost is least reliable? Since when? Its still the most reliable and fastest source. Point is - it is his site and he can do whatever he wants with it. And that includes charging. Don't just go signup to a forum to go bag out a site. Leftwinglock and Dailyfaceoff are both good sites, but Goaliepost has the edge. It does MUCH more than provide you with starting goalies. Statisical analysis, Goalie notes and comments from coaches that most people miss. It's worth alot more than 10 dollars. But whatever man |

Blah.. Just giving props to where props need to be. For my money, free is better than $10. Sounds like you may be from goaliepost. Sort of a hard to find a site and has links to the confirmations and other advice as well. I mean, if a free site is knocking out 100% goalie probables, with links on a daily basis, why pay? Make sense yet? And no, I didn't mean "cents."
