I\'ve been wanting to move Bouwmeester since the 1st day I got him. He is overrated in our league, he only got 70 points last year, he just doesn\'t get enough PPPs.

Well the trade has been accepted. Just pending league approval.

I think I did pretty good in this trade. Berard was a waiver pick up and with Boyle coming back soon, I need to drop a D.

Bouwmeester is overrated in our league, he doesn\'t get enought PPPs. I would imagine 40-45 points and 10-15 points on the PP from Bouwmeester. If Streit can get 35-40 points with 15-20 on the PP unit, I think it would be around even.

Cheechoo should get 35-40 goals with 70-75 points, a lot should be on the PP too. I was pretty high on Hemsky and still am, he should get 65-70 point too with a lot from the PP but now with Souray out indefinitely, the PP will defintely suffer even more.

Are my assumptions close to accurate?

I think that your assumptions are very close.
I really like this trade from your team\'s perspective.
I think the main thing you\'re going to miss is the +/- from Bouwmeester... but, Berard\'s and Hemsky\'s +/- was going to hurt you. Additionally, +/- is only .5 points.
The main thing that you gain is a true goal scorer, and you lose a true set up man (without a sniper to setup)... and goals are worth more than assists. Additionally, Edmonton is going to be a weak team until the Cogliano\'s, Gagner\'s and Nilson\'s develop... and that won\'t happen over night. And SJ will turn that boat around.
So overall i really like the trade from your aspect... the only thing that i really don\'t like about it is that you didn\'t really need to improve your RW (but, improvement is always good) in comparison to your LW. Perhaps you should have looked to shore that up... or i guess that should be your next project. Perhaps you could dangle V Kozlov for a LW... perhaps Slava Kozlov (unless this is a keeper league). V Kozlov should be highly regarded right now as Ovechkin\'s centreman... but consider trading him while he is still AO\'s centre. He could lose that spot overnight to a guy like Nylander.

I am totally in agreement with everything you pretty much said. I do have an excess amount of RW. I\'ve tried to move for a LW but right now, doesn\'t seems like I could get one. This isn\'t a keeper so I might give that trade for S.kozlov a try.
