Rep Points for saying what I wanted to but didn't

LOL. It's the most contradicting thread I've ever seen on this forum.

Basically, 99% of the board members try their damndest to NOT share pertinent fantasy-related information with other managers.

Yet with the ridiculous whining around GoaliePost, some managers (mainly newbies) are all gun-ho about trying to act as a resource on here for which goalies are starting.

Obviously there are 4-5 other solid free websites for daily starting goalies ... so having random people that aren't 100% reliable acting as a "source" on here is only going to turn into the biggest clusterfxxk ever.

But it will be funny to watch =D

It's not that hard to know who the starter will be for any given day. There's maybe 10% of games over the course of the year where there is a surprise or a last-minute change. Some teams like the Ducks never reveal their starting goalie, so even the reliable resources might not always be correct. It's just part of playing the fantasy hockey game...just find it out for yourself.

And who is sneaky enough to find the correct starting goalie somewhere, then post the opposite goalie on here just to mess with people?!!? Bound to happen I'm sure ... but hopefully I didn't just open Pandora's Box LOLOL.

Personally, I hope nobody actually tries to post starting goalies on here. It's a joke and this website is way above that type of stuff ... don't you think there's a reason Dobber hasn't done this for his website yet? It's been done to death.

With Lidstrom on the point, you've gotta think Cloutier is in for a career year. Pick him up while Osgood is hurt ASAP.

I don't like the way you guys have hi-jacked this thread. Justin, not everyone is eager to fork out 10$ for goaliepost. I know you support the guy, but a lot of people are angered by the new charge. This guys was trying to start something in THIS community for reliable starting goalies threads. I think it would be useful info for THIS site. If it is fantasy relevant, it SHOULD be on this site. Knowing which goalie is playing is fantasy relevant.

I could care less if you guys try to announce starting goalies. I have no problem with that and I don't moderate this forum. I'm just saying it's kinda funny/ironic that it would appear on these boards. I've been dealing with an offline draft for more than a few weeks so it's nice to be able to post my opinions on stuff...especially a great site like goaliepost. I just happen to believe in what he's doing and wish him the best!
