why not ? i think like joos, and this would be a way to gamble on hasek without worrying about injury...

I actually think this is pretty close. Both are older, but playing on good teams. His RW could use depth and your goaltending could use the same.

Brunette is always under-valued, but his ice time should be somewhat reduced with the emergence of all the young talented players on the Avs roster.

Here\'s to crossing your fingers, knocking on wood, or whatever you do for luck hoping Hasek stays healthy and plays all season.

Out of curiosity, what kind of a league is this...keeper, rotisserie, H2H, etc.?

I would have no trouble doing this deal - Hasek is a nice asset to have - he is the starting goalie on one of the better teams in the league - and other than Emery - your goalies are nothing to write home about.

Yeah he\'s old and people worry about his ability to play the season but look at his numbers from last year. Not shabby.

Can\'t imagine keeping either one of them but if you do I guess Brunette might have a little more longevity than Hasek. I saw this as more of this year kinda thing.
