I think there must be a good RW guy on the wire - this guy is stripping down to 2 active RW and not really great ones. Go back at him with some kind of package around the two goalies that is a good deal for you and see if he bites.

Anyway I really don\'t see how this deal does anything for you and I think by his offer you probably aren\'t going to get much more from him. But test the waters anyway.

I think if this deal doesn\'t get done that you might find Sykora dumped in the next while anyway - something isn\'t adding up here.

I certainly don\'t like your counter offer...the first offer is actually not bad...there is not a lot of difference between Kipper and Miller right now. I actually live in Calgary and see all the games, and Kipper doesn\'t look like Kipper of old either. Maybe this guy is a big Kipper fan...
Buffalo is really starting to heat up again, so imo you are not losing in getting miller for Kipper and plus you get sykora...and he is going to get points with the Pens.

If you were making that counter to me, I\'d take it an run in a heartbeat - in other words you\'re giving up too much.

I kind of liked the first offer. But thats me.

I would much rather see you get a LW in the deal - but he obviously wants to off Sykora. You know I don\'t really see 2 clear drops for you as I think you should run with 5 D guys anyway - the only obvious drop I see is Recchi. I guess either Comrie or Hemsky would be the other two I would chose from. You need to keep balance or it would be Clowe.
