it isn\'t a runaway deal short term but I think it is a good move for the longer term - Fleury is starting to settle down and should give you a good season this year and the future? could be very good.

Right now Turco is safe with Mike Smith injured, but Smith will take more games than usual from Turco when he\'s healthy. Turco is still a great goaltender, but i dont think Dallas is where they used to be, where as Pittsburgh is obviously on the rise very quickly.

Last year Dallas seemed like they were pushing Mike Smith for more starts, and this year he\'ll probably see even more time if healthy. In Pittsburgh, with or without Sabourin being healthy, Fleury will shine.

Just to add. Think long term as well. With only 4 keepers in your pool, are you concerned about having a goalie to keep. There is a large age gap between Turco and Fleury. But i would still take Fleury.

ya i know only 4 keepers. hard to choose from my team, but 3 that are obvious for me are vinny, staal and radulov. the 4th would be flexible - but preferably gonchar or sundin or something. i like the idea of keeping 4 power forwards and then drafting a goalie in the 1st round when it comes around. alot of people in my league are keeping their goalie and goalie stats are only 4 of 11 so odds are the first round of drafting they will draft a skater. but i am very up in the air about this one. turco is older but seems more stable but dallas doesnt really have any direcetion. the pens will likely compete for a cup in the next few seasons and fleury will be there to help them...

I don\'t think I would do this deal. Here\'s how I see it. 4 categories count for goaltenders [wins...and what gaa, sv%, shots?].

Your team is deep enough that I\'m not sure you would keep a goaltender anyway [How important are D \'cause yours are good?] and while Dallas won\'t give you many fantasy assets at forward they are gold in net [I think D. Cloutier would be Vezina candidate playing in big D] and I believe Turco still has a long way to go on his contract...meaning he\'ll still see plently of ice. He\'ll win more than you think and his other stats should be significantly better than Fleury\'s.

defence are very important. u cant say defender dont matters, cause we have 11 total skaters/nite and 7 are forwards. 4 are defence. by having shit defence you are cutting ur point production. last year i had pronger s. neider and souray and i won my pool. had greaet other players also but defence is huge....

ya i have the official offer for this trade, i just need to accept or decline...waitin on one dobber for some input!!
