Default How'd I do?

Just finished drafting in an one-year 18 team H2H league with the following cats:

G,A,P,PIM,+/-,PPG,PPA,PPP,SHG,SHP,SOG,FW,
GS,W,L,GAA,GA,Saves,SV%,ShotsAgainst,SHO

*Four required Games Started (GS) for goaltending every week.

1. (1) Roberto Luongo G
2. (36) Sidney Crosby C
3. (37) Evgeni Malkin C
4. (72) Jimmy Howard G
5. (73) Alex Auld G
6. (108) Sergei Gonchar D
7. (109) Anze Kopitar C
8. (144) Alex Tanguay LW
9. (145) Joffrey Lupul RW
10. (180) Paul Kariya LW
11. (181) Sean Avery LW
12. (216) Andrew Raycroft G
13. (217) Justin Williams RW
14. (252) Kris Letang D
15. (253) Sam Gagner C
16. (288) Erik Johnson D
17. (289) Tim Connolly C
18. (324) Tomas Fleischmann RW
19. (325) Cory Schneider G
20. (360) Matt Niskanen D
21. (361) Evgeny Artyukhin RW
22. (396) Sean Bergenheim LW
23. (397) Erik Karlsson D
24. (432) Boris Valabik D
25. (433) Chris Clark RW
26. (468) Troy Brouwer RW
27. (469) Max Pacioretty LW
28. (504) John Carlson D
29. (505) Thomas McCollum G
30. (540) Tyler Bozak C

Crosby and Malkin fell to me at 36th and 37th because 34 of the first 35 picks were goalies. 4 goalie starts per team per week puts a huge premium on goalies. I'm a bit weak at wing, and I'm a little nervous that so much of my offense rides on Penguins.

Any thoughts on the draft, on categories I'm not doing well in, on team weaknesses would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Any league that a backup goalie is worth more than Crosby or Malkin is not worth being in IMHO. I wouldn't worry too much about your team though as you are better than average in goal regardless if nobody besides Luongo does anything and have 2 of the best players up front. Good luck.

As harsh as it sounds Id probably agree. Sorry to say but that seems to kill such a huge dimension of the hockey pool experience. If they are worth that much you might as well just make it a goalie pool- leave the skaters alone- lol!

Well, it's not for everybody. Nevertheless I kind of like the format and the challenge it presents. Anyone else have any thoughts on how my team looks?

Sounds like a Strained Resources league. What division are you in?
