I have created another auction dynasty league and this one will be a live auction set for Friday, September 18th at 9 PM eastern. I can make the draft Saturday too, but I would like to have it on either one of those dates.

Here are the details...

Budget - $260

Those not familiar with ESPN's auction format... here is the link to the information:

Roster size: 25 - 3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 5 D, 3 Util, 1 G, 7 bench (only limit is goalies, as teams can have up to 4 goalies on their roster)

Scoring: G, A, +/-, PIM, SOG, Defensemen points*, PPP, SHP / W, SV, MIN, GAA
* - Defensemen points are given based on the production of D... goals by D are worth 2 D-points, while assists by D are one point. For example, last year Mike Green would have scored 104 D-points (31 goals x 2 = 62 + 42 assists = 104 D-points).

Use the $260 to build your team... the auction values will be recorded for each player and then placed into a performance scale that will be updated periodically throughout the season. The scale will be used to determine keeper value for the following season.

Keeper rules - keep 5 to 7 players for the following season. Keeper value will cut into next season's $260 budget. Only allowed to keep ONE goalie year to year.

After the auction, the league will be run just as any other league - the value of the players, however, will follow them upon being traded and/or dropped by their owners. Any FA picked up will have the value of $2 attached to them.

As for teamnames... I think it would be cool to pick the AHL affiliate of your favorite NHL team. I have picked the Hershey Bears.
