sorry turtle but you lose that deal by quite a wide margin imo. seeing as only 1 goalie dresses a night turco is more then efficient. the upgrade your getting with lundy over turco is not nearly as great as the loss you suffer with oshie and turris for mathias. i hope for your sake that you have not officially accepted this deal.

Just curious, I know you lost quite a bit on offense, but who is your 2nd goalie? Because if you would have too many good prospects as your post indicated, then I dont see losing a few good players as the end of the world. You need a well rounded team and sometimes you need to stockpile at a certain position(in your case, offense) and trade for a weaker position. And Turco being your #1 is a little suspect and would make me uncomfortable.

Losing Turris and Oshie is quite a hit(I think PMB is overrated and trading him wasnt a big deal), but if you have the offensive depth to cover those losses and get a top 5 goaltender, I think you did alright for yourself.

*Of course this post is being made without seeing your actual new roster, but if your prospects are as plentifull as you say they are, it's not a huge deal.

Okay, to be honest im in complete rebuild mode so, my team is shit right now. But, my prospects are insane. Berglund,Filatov,JvR, Bailey,B.Schenn,Okposo, E.Kane and my only good forwards are Mike Richards andy mcdonald and Malone.
My current goalies now would Rinne Lundqvist and rask(farm team). I traded for Lundqvist cause i cant trust these young goalies who knows could be another raycroft.
I dont plan on winning for at least a year or 2 and watching like the LA kings they got all this shit and some halfass goalies... i didnt want to have loads and loads of offence and lose that 30% of goalie stats.
But than again i couldve gambled more and not traded for lundqvist and went varlamov rask and rinne and load up on some forwards...

Who is PMB?

Bottom line is that the difference between Turco (who is still a pretty good at 33) and Lundvqvist which is rather samll compared to the difference between Mattias and Oshie/ Turris and PMB.

Anyway, I really think this was a significant overpay for the upgrade in goal. Only way you ever win this deal is if Turco, Turris, Oshie and PMB become team mates and all die in a plane crash.

Yeah, you landed a great goaltender but parted with a pretty good one in the process. I don't care how many surplus prospects you have, you have to find a way to massage them into equitable assets. not spent like you have more money than anyone else in the world if you are managing responsibly. If I was in your league, I think I would be some annoyed at this kind of deal going down.
