If you noticed, I implemented a title system, and right now the highest title is at 15,000 posts, which nobody has achieved yet. I hope you like the new setup. The order is: Newbie, Rookie, Sophomore, Veteran, Pro, Expert, Guru, Monster, Titan, Immortal, and ???

In a year or so I may add "Giant" after Monster.

Also, Karma has been replaced by "reputation". For some reason, everyone who has registered historically is at "zero" and thus is unable to "give" reputation. I've been doing what I can to add some to you and once you get to 15 you will be able to give rep points. Instead of one at a time, I believe you will be able to give 1 for every 1000 posts you have, plus 1 for ever 100 rep points you have. So the longer you have been here, the more I trust you and the more you can give. You can only give rep points four times a day. You cannot take rep points away.

All future registrants will start at 5 and have to get up to 15 rep points and 100 posts before they can give any.

What does all this prevent?
1) Idiots from docking you over and over. Since nobody can dock.
2) Idiots from rewarding themselves by creating a 2nd account. It's a lot of work to sign up a second account, quickly post 100 times (while earning another +10 rep points from others)

What does this encourage?
The valued, loyal members will have the ability to give the most rep points. If you have 5000 posts and 500 rep points, clearly you are well known and respected in the forum and you can no doubt be trusted to make smart decisions about which members to reward or not reward. I believe 5000 and 500 means you can give 11 rep points at a time.

Also, I don't know if you have noticed that you can have friends lists - feel free to add me! I believe that means you can instantly see the latest posts of all your friends.

I love all the new changes to the website. It took quite alot of trial and error, but I think this website just simply cannot be beat.

so youre saying the system isn't technically active yet correct? ... since the vast majority of users that are currently active (and would be giving or receiving rep points) are from the old forum setup and therefore blocked from doing so?
