I would be getting the Heater end (never said that before...)
I love getting younger in net and our league rewards goal scorers. I think I should jump all over it, but am I overvaluing Heatly? What about Backstrom\'s hip surgery and new offensive style in Minny? Any advice appreciated!

Your gut is right - jump all over it!
Heater doesn\'t have the injury history Zetts does... easy call. Don\'t let the regime change in Minny fool you into being wary of Backstrom. I didn\'t look at your cats, but this is either a wash or a landslide for Backstrom. Do it! |

Heatley or Zetts - Heatley in a heart beat. Age, positional factors, health. All favour Heatley. The age difference is huge.
Nabby or Backstrom - With Backstrom injured, it seems funny to say I\'m not so worried about his health as Nabby\'s. Good chance Nabby leads all NHL tenders in points next year (Wins/shutouts). I\'m mildly concerned about the direction that Minny is heading right now. Sure a lot of uncertainty and change. I\'d be surprised to see them make the playoffs. Even still, Backstrom clearly had a major breakthrough in Fantasy this year. He\'s highly touted. He\'s enough younger, that you could continue the hunt and see about getting your fingers on a younger version that you like a bit more. In the meantime, driving this car, well it\'s a great car! Nabby is getting old in Fantasy, to the point that it becomes problematic to trade him for another elite. This is probably your best chance to move him. Someone deciding to hang onto him and drive him until he drops. Well, I respect that a bunch too. I make the deal to get away from the injury factor of Zetts/Nabby. Then I get the best player in Heatley.

Thanks for confirming my thinking.
Nabby has led our league two years running, but I see the writing on the wall. Last year of his contract, soon to be 35... How would he look at 35 on a bottom half team? I may actually have to up it a bit, and throw in Campbell for Hainsey, which I guess I would do to seal it. My D is deep enough to suffer the loss if it means adding Heater and Backs.

Shit!
He wants Zetts/Gagne/Theodore for Heater/Cole/Karyia I basically look at this as a 2-4-1 Zetts/Gags for Heater. Cole and Karyia are pretty worthless and are borderline waiver drops. Theo is my third tender and I only want to run with two. I have a hard time giving up both Zetts and Gagne. I am a Gags believe and think he will be 35-40 goal man for the next several years. He alone was on par with Heatly this year, let alone adding in Zetterberg. Still, to land Heatly..... Please help!!
