Assuming that you\'ll be able to keep Kopitar at the end of the season, I\'d do it. Richards might outscore Kopitar this season, but it\'ll be fairly close, and Kopitar will likely exceed that in following years.

Keep in mind that I\'m giving this advice assuming that Tampa\'s core remains the same next season. If Richards gets moved into a consistent top line role, then the deal becomes a bit more even.

When a deal is close like this, it could go wither way. Kopitar has a big future. I traded Richards for Cammalleri straight up in our keeper league in the off season, and don\'t regret it.

I also have Brown, O\'Sullivan and J. Johnson, so I am investing heavily in LA being a force in the next couple of seasons.
