With Burke\'s overhauling in Toronto, what are his chances of being moved to a better team?
What would his wins look like next year on toronto, and what would they look like on a better team? I am absolutely HOPING that detroit wants him, and finally gets rid of ozzy and conks. Anyone can give me any help?? Thanks

I think Toskala\'s year next year will rely heavily on where Gustafsson signs. Assuming he gets healthy, it will be Toskala\'s job to lose, but a Gustafsson signing will mean a much shorter leash for Vesa. Plan B is probably to bring Gerber back, which would be terrific news for Tosk owners.

Great news for him would be the Leafs getting a capable 30 game backup. Toskala is a great goalie when he doesn\'t have to play every night (and injured on top of that).

I think he will have a solid season in Toronto (30+ wins) if they get a capable back up. And if he is dealt to a better team, his numbers will be even better.

ya i got him for basically free. I used my last FA move on him, because he got dumped because he was injured. I figured if I was lucky enough I could protect him cheap. Which seems to be the case now.
Just wanna see him in a better jersey than the leafs, or someone to assure me that a leafs goalie can still get me decent wins and shutouts

I think he can muster 30 wins, not the least bit confident that he is a good option for shutouts though.

I think he stays with the Leafs atleast until the trade deadline. Next year will be his last on the contract so he will be a good candidate to be traded in a deadline deal to a contender in need of goaltender help.
In today\'s NHL with overtime and shootout wins, 30 should be attainable. Toronto had 34 wins last year and will be better next year. Toronto will have close to 40 wins and fight for a playoff spot next year. That will give Toskala success.
