Default Who wins this deal?

Team A gets: Tukka Rask, Brian Rolston, Sheldon Souray, Mikko Koivu
Team B gets: Martin Biron, Patrik Elias, J. M. Liles, Chris Higgins

20 team league, goals assists, PIM, +/- all counts

Team A needs offense and Team B needs a goalie

In my opinion Team B wins.

Biron is short term, Rask is long term. In 3 years Rask will be better.

Elias Vs. Rolston. I would go with Elias. Both playing on defensive teams but Elias is the GO TO guy where as Rolston is not.

Liles Vs. Souray. You count +/- so I have to go with Liles. Edmonton will be horrible this year and Souray is not known for his defensive game.

Higgins Vs. Koivu. Would probably give the very slight edge to Koivu.

Team B wins this trade at least for the next 3 season.

Very close for me.
Rask vs Biron - I think Biron will play better than what some people think. Rask is a great young goalie but his value might be limited by the bad team he will play for. I am having a hard time deciding between these 2. Rask has the potential to be a star. Short term, of course, Biron is your guy.
Elias vs Rolston - pretty close but Elias should get a few more points
Souray vs Liles - edge to Souray; his +/- will suck but even with the dip in points and his PIMs he will be a more valuable Dman.
Higgins vs Koivu - close again but a slight edge to Higgins.

So I think Team B wins by a little.

I like the team B side but without the same reservation as the other posters. Let\'s say a comfortable choice for me is Team B.

If your team B I would do it. Your getting a starting goalie for a good team if they stay healthy, at a relatively low price.
