Roloson, Ray Whitney for Halak, Wolski, Bill Thomas... Keeper league, all stats, no funny skews on goals or assists etc., Halak would team up to be 2nd goalie with Labarbara... does this leave me too wanting in my second goaltender spot, or is it worth it to get younger... I will compete this year, but would like to get younger as well... is it worth it? Appreciate any input.

I\'d hold on on this trade personally, Its still unclear if Halak will make the Habs. Carbonneau has stated its 50-50 if Price or Halak will be the back up in Montreal this year. So it would be difficult to play the year with just 1 goalie. I believe Halak will be the back up in montreal, cause its stupid to have a 20 year old prospect as a Backup when he can start more games in the AHL

I really wonder if Bernier isn\'t also going to get the 9 games and down treatment too - LaBarbera could end up with lots of starts. I do like the getting younger part of the deal though these guys won\'t do a lot for you this year - good news about doing this trade is that TJ Hensick was cut by the AV\'s so Wolski can breathe a little easier about his spot in the line-up.

I think you are giving little in terms of Roloson although he could have a surprise year - Garon is there to take up the slack if he stumbles. Whitney is aging and is a huge injury risk - already some signs of groin stress in preseason I think.

All in all if you can survive losing Whitney\'s production - I think I would do this move just to get Wolski and Thomas.
