Currently trailing in the finals of my yahoo pool 7-6.

I need to make a decision, please help:

Goalie Cats as of today break down like this:

WINS: both tied at 6 a piece
LOSES: I am losing with 6 losses to his 4 (so this doesnt matter)
GA: I lead 29GA to his 32GA (at risk of losing if i play one of my tenders)
GAA: Lead with 2.28 to his 2.40
SV%: Lead with 9.20 to his 9.12
SO: Tied at 2 a piece

I have Lundqvist VS Philly
I have C. Mason (STL) vs. Colorado

My competition has no goalies playing. Do I play Lundqvist or Mason in hopes of winning the WINS or SO categories?

Or is it too much of a risk to play them because I could potentially lose the cats i am leading (GA, GAA and SV%).

If i play one, which one?

KARMA+++ for advice...this makes or breaks my championship week....

Can you wait until last minute to make a move? Cuz if you wait on the Detroit/Chicago game to end you can find out more about where you stand in player categories. That\'s the first thing I\'d do.

If you find out you need to strip that wins category, then you are probably better off sending Mason out there than Lundqvist. I don\'t like the looks of NYR playing in Philly who is trying to grab crucial home ice against the Penguins. St. Louis is still playing for a better playoff position so they\'ll come in motivated, plus Colorado\'s offense does not intimidate anyone.

Yikes, very tough call.

Do you think you can make up any ground in the offensive categories?

This is a very risky deal to try and pull off.

Yeah I\'d only do this if it\'s your very last option available. And then I\'d play Mason and cross your fingers hoping for the hail mary pass!

i think i can make some ground in the offensive cats....but i think I will take the advice of metaldude and wait until last minute since my opponent has zetterberg playing at 2....i should know how i stand after that game and if the risk is worth it.

right now, i have all my tenders benched but was leaning towards mason as well.

For those two games, Mason is the guy to choose.

It will be easier against Colorado, than Lundy against Flyers.

Go with Mason in net. I watched the whole Canucks/Avs game yesterday. The Avs are awful. Nobody up front to score, D in shambles. StL wants to win 100% as they avoid a 1st round matchup with the Sharks. No brainer.
