Looking to trade for a forward. Keeper league (8 keepers). Who is the better option, Michalek or Horton?

Ill go with Michalek...playing with cheechoo and the best assist man in the league thornton, gotta go with michalek.

Michalek is pretty good, but i definately thinkt hat horton is a better talent. He should be a 40g/40a player pretty soon, and has a higher upside, IMO. But being a center might make horton less valuable in this league. It would help to see what the rest of your team is like.

We have to start 3 centers and 6 wingers.

My top centers are Spezza, Getzlaf and Roy

My top wings are Kovalchuk, Ovechkin, Radulov, Gaborik, Malkin and Hemsky

I can redesignate Horton at wing if I want. Each team is allowed two re-designations per season, as long as the player is listed on a recognized fantasy site at said position (CBS, ESPN, Rotowire, etc). Horton is listed on Rotowire as a Winger (as is Malkin which is why I redesignated him to a wing).

Keep Horton.

Michelak is just a product of a great first line in San Jose and Horton is still on an equal playing field. Horton is a pure-goal scorer type, IMO and I think that once Little makes the big club THAT first line will be better than Thornton\'s. Imagine: Kovalchuk-Little-Horton? Horton-Little-Hossa? Incredible.
