Kinda crazy that the only two guys in the NHL with the name Timonen are both defensemen on the same team.

They\'re brothers, playing on the same team, just like the Kariya, Niedermayer ( when Scott was playing ). If this is a trend, may be MTL should have kept MArcel Hossa, to try to land Marian next summer...

I had a good laugh when I read that Timonen had been cut. I knew it was Jussi, but thought that some people would mistake him for his much more offensive brother Kimmo.

I think it\'s kinda cool for brothers to play on the same team, I mean if they can make the team that is.

My problem is when there are two guys in the NHL with the same name. Drives me crazy. Two Petr Sykora\'s. Why couldn\'t one of them just spell his name with an extra e. Two Alexandre Picard\'s. It messes with my stats as I use the players names to link the stats. I could use a unique identifier such as a number, but then that just causes me more work and opens up the potential for hard to find errors.
