Michalek and Legwand for Kovalchuk?

Any thoughts?

It would help to know a little about the league your in. But at first glance this looks like a horribly imbalanced trade. If you are the side getting kovalchuk, then you should hope that this gm doesnt get offended by such a lowball offer. If your getting michalek and legwand, simply put, DONT DO THIS TRADE.

A word of caution though, if you are offering this up, it may be good to rethink the offer. Because usually rival GM\'s get a little annoyed by lowball offers such as this.

This is quite simple, I take Kovalchuk, no question.

It\'s extremely hard to acquire the superstars and Kovalchuk, although he had a somewhat disapointing year last season certainly qualifies as a superstar. He has the potential to score 50 to 60 goals.

Think of the trade as Kovalchuk + a free-agent to pick-up for Michalek and Legwand.

It\'s a no brainer!.
