Yahoo Points League 12 teams:
C,C,LW,LW,RW,RW,F,U,D,D,D,D,G Stats: G (2),A(1.25),PPP(0.5),PIM(0.25),+-(0.5),SHP(2),GWG(0.5),W(3),SV(0.05),GA(-0.4),SHO (5) Ryan is having a good pre-season and seems to be set with Getzlaf and Bert, but could potentially just get the 9 game cup of coffee. Kane is a lock and looks like he will start with Ruutu and Toews. I have Kane now and am still haunted by picking up Bochenski 2 years ago when he was with Ottawa and had that killer pre-season. Stasny worked out well for me last year. So, do I swap em out? Tough to let it sit with the Ducks first game happening before everybody else\'s preseason is still going on.

Am I naive thinking that Kane is no lock to stick with the Hawks? He was only drafted this year. He may need some time to \"fill out\".
I think in a one year pool, I\'d take a shot with the 20 year old Ryan over the 18 year old Kane. Ryan had nine points in eight AHL games this year as well.

I think Comish is on to something in that Ryan is a couple of years older and may be able to handle the physical rigors of the NHL more easily than Kane. With that said, if the Hawks show a bit of patience with Kane, and there is really no reason why they shouldn\'t, I think he can have a pretty solid rookie season and stay with the big club the whole year. Ryan may not be given the same opportunity in Anaheim as the Ducks are in a win now mode and the youngster may not be ready to contribute to the degree necessary at this early stage of his career.
Very tough call...and I am honestly not sure which way to go on this one (I know, talk about HORRID advice!) |

On the other hand, power forwards take a few extra years to reach their offensive stride, versus a skill guy.
Go with Kane.
