Default Preissing or Bieska ?

My pool includes : +/-, G, P, PPG, SOG, SHG

I fear Bieska\'s production will drop this year as i had so many bad experiences from a youngster. At least Preissing is a lock on 40 points.

Big difference is that Preissing\'s +/- will drop and he doesn\'t shoot on goal, like Bieska do.

What you guys think ?

I think Bieksa is a better bet this season actually. He played a much more pivotal role with the Canucks last season and there is little reason to believe that his role will diminish this year -- in fact, it could grow. Preissing is a solid blueliner but with all the options at defense in LA (Visnovsky, Blake, Johnson, Stuart, etc) his production is not going to be what it could have been on a number of other clubs.

I think you can expect consistent production out of Bieksa. Even if he slips a little I think he\'s a surer thing in Vancouver than Preissing is in LA [b/c of their depth at D]. Vancouver is deep, but often injured.

Bieksa will be more of THE MAN in Vancouver than people think.

I have doubts about preissing due to la\'s crowded blueline. I even dropped him in one of my pools for kris russell.

Bieksa...hands down...especially now that Sami Salo will be missing some time (as per usual).
