I\'d drafted 3 starters and need some help at D.

I\'d be banking on Smyth getting RW status eventually.
Vanek/Sedin is a very nice LW duo
Havlat is a band-aid boy, and COULD put up 70-75pts
Campbell gives me a 40-50pt d-man to replace either Murphy or Ohlund

Any other considerations?

I\'m also considering offering Havlat/Miller for E. Staal/Redden...

Don\'t know what your categories are but Havlat would not be leaving my team before Smyth. I think Smyth and Miller are a more than adequate package for Sedin and Campbell. Smitty will not outpoint Havlat in any normal year amd normal would be about 65 games for Havlat.

I feel much the same about the 2nd deal you are considering. Additionally Redden just isn\'t right for some reason - I would be hesitant to go there until it becomes clear what is going down with the lad.

I realize that the only way I win this deal is if Havlat gets hurt.

Otherwise Sedin and Havlat offset each other and the deal becomes Campbell for Miller which is lop-sided.

Ideally I\'d love to get a top-5 D in return, but none of the guys who own them need a G.

Dunno, I\'ll have to think about it a little longer I guess...

It seems to me that you are not getting enough for miller. I dont know exactly what your scoring categories are, but miller is one of the better goalies in the league,. perhaps try to upgrade on campbell, or get a pick in return or something, cause as it stands now, i think you are overpaying slightly.
