I made a deal yesterday and acquired Alexander Ovechkin, Ryan Suter & 4th RD pick next season.

I gave up Dustin Penner, Patrice Bergeron, Petr Sykora, Lubomir Visnovksy & 1st RD pick next season.

League is based on points, calculated with different formulas for goals (1.0) and assists (0.5) with 8 protection spots each year.

Obviously Ovechkin is by far the best player in the deal, I think I made a good deal, what do you think??

Not gonna lie, your my hero

Gotta love getting Ovechkin at any time, congratulations. Any time you can parlay Tier 11 guys into an Elite level player I think you come out ahead.

But I am not so sure it is the steal everyone is making it out to be. There are alot of if\'s in the guys you traded, but if all the if\'s come home - I suspect your trading partner can do some serious business with those assets - time will tell.

Bergeron will keep improving to Teir 1, Sykora is not old and can really pull the trigger - Crosby and Malkin will make him a very nice asset for a few years, Penner is young and likely to play with Hemsky who is sick when it comes to creating - he could really grow in that situation. Visnovsky is going to anchor a very potent powerplay on a high scoring team for some time to come. and a first round pick is always better than a 4th - who knows what he can grab.

But the old bird in the hand is worth two in the bush adage certainly applies here. You did the right thing.

Shoeless nails it here in indicating that you did the right thing in making the trade, however it is not nearly as one-sided as some are making it out to be. Let\'s see how everything plays out over the first couple of months before we commit to highway robbery with the likes of Bergeron, Sykora, Visnovsky and a 1st going the other way.

You got a stud player...one of the top fantasy players in the game. The question is did you possibly give up too much and only time will tell.

i agree you got a stud player in ovechkin , but gave up a possible pronger in vilsnoski.nothing to brag about but you did ok.
