The 4th would likely be an early pick (unless my team really overachieves) and the 3rd likely a late pick...so I I would only really be moving up a couple of places, but would not lose out on having a pick.

Dobber\'s ramblings indicate that Franson has been cut from the Nashville camp.

Personally I wouldn\'t do that deal, even if Franson was to make the Nashville team. I consider that Liles will bounce back this year. Liles, at the present time, wins over Franson. Might be different long term.

Gionta wins over Richards.

If you are wanting to win the trade for what you stand to gain now, you shouldn\'t do this deal. imo

The only way I deal Gionta to you in this deal is if I was in desperate need of help at defense...and even then I would be hesitant. Liles is a top 15 d-man but Richards has yet to prove that he is much of an asset fantasy-wise. Gionta is talented, should be playing on the top line, and will see plenty of PP time all leading to a real nice season for the Devils.
