I have offered a contoaversial trade. Our league has very very few starting goalies available and when I inherited my team my Goalies were Tim Thomas and Marc Denis. After giving up zetterberg I wrangled Toskala pre-trade last year and would have had to give up much more had he been a bonafide starter. What do you think of the idea of trading Toskala to for the first overall draft pick. The other team is short on a bonafide goalie and I would use the first overall to lock up Bernier immidiately. Thoughts/criticism/etc? Oh yeah I dont plan on competing this year, or maybe even next year.

I need some clarity from you. You use the term \'I am not competing this year or next year\'. Should I interpret that to mean that you aren\'t going to win this year or next year or does it in fact mean that you have a bad team. No disrespect intended. If your team is not competitive, to steal your terminology, then I would do the deal. Are you certain that it would give you the overall #1 pick? Stamkos would appear to be the guy at the moment. I really like Doughty. You probably have a feeling of what you want to do. You aren\'t wrong.
