Do positions matter? Because if they do then you absolutely need to grab a LW

Yes we need 3C, 3LW and 3RW and I think that\'s part of my dilemma. Should I stop taken the BPA and grab the best LW?

I never heard about Angus pyramid before, but I guess he\'s right. The LW are damn hard to fill. Vanek and Tanguay are obvious but I\'m still not sold on Nash, I\'m afraid it\'s bit early for him too. I think I would take Semin and Frolov before him, but yes the \&quot;Zherdev\&quot; factor needs to be considered.

How many dmen it take over 8 picks to raise the \&quot;dmen run\&quot; alert? I you look closely, there\'s also two teams who are still goalie free.

4 teams beside you have not taken a lw yet - if it comes to you and you can bang off two quality LW guys I think you have this draft going your way - be very interesting to see what comes to you in this round - there are guys going to be beefy at centre and rw with not a lot at lw and d - as much as you picked bandaid boys in Spezz and Gabbie - I think you are going to be happy you picked a goalie and d guy. and generally happy if you can balance off now - I think there maybe some attempt to grab a second goalie after your picks but you have an anchor and there is time

You have the fantasy stud D man so the alert shouldn\'t be real loud for you - the more I think about it the more I think you need to lock up some LW and another goaltender first. The 8 picks coming before you are going to tell a story.

I like two strategies for your next 4 picks:

Rd 5/6 LW,G: Rd 7/8 LW,D
or
Rd 5/6 LW,LW: Rd 7/8 G,D

Do you have an eye on a Goalie you like?

Since we started this banter yesterday I did some research and it seems to me that coming to the mid rounds with 2 G 2LW with a good centre and RW and 2 solid D there are very good opportunities because then you aren\'t under pressure to pick one position over another. Those mid rounds are often the key to a successful draft - but you don\'t want to pick dumb in the late rounds either.

I think you\'re totally right by saying that it\'s time for me to balance my team.

Both strategy you elaborated are really good, but if Vanek and Tanguay are both available, I think I must grab them. It might happen as from what I heard, the 1st pick of the 5th round should be a dmen and if I follow some logic, the other 5 should be 4 dmen and a goalie. Afterward, the GM who\'s picking already has a LW (Malkin) and the 8th pick should be Staal.

Otherwise, I think I should be able to get at least Tanguay and a G or D (depending who\'s available).

As for the goalies I\'m watching, Dobber convinced me that Legace should be a good pick but I think he\'s a bit under the radar now. Backstrom, Lethonen, Turco would make me happy.

I like Lehtonen the best actually but none of the other 2 are bad choices.

Sounds like you have a plan for the next 4 rounds - good luck with this - hope you get Kaberle too but might be a dream to think he will last.
