I\'m in a 10 team, 24 man roster, points only keeper league where we have to have at least 6 d men and 2 goalies on our team at all times during the regular season. We keep 8 men from year to year.
We have been using officepools.com as our provider as many of the GM\'s don\'t want to update their teams on a weekly/daily basis. This site creates a lot of work for the commish of the league as he has to put through roster moves, trades etc. Since most of us are lucky enough to be able to manage our teams at work, we are looking for a site that is not Yahoo.com to run this pool that will minimize the amount of work the commish has to do. Can you please provide me with some alternatives? Most of the league likes Yahoo but I don\'t b/c I can\'t see it from work which is where I do my best \"managing\". |

I used Hockepool.com for a number of years with success.

I think the problem is likely your job..

Don\'t mean to hijack the thread, but ...
Does anybody know of a good site to use for a dynasty league? Our league plans to use a rotisserie format with large rosters (24-32) players and yahoo won\'t work since they don\'t allow your roster size to be that big. Pay sites are not a problem. Thanks. B)

re the portable firefox...while not leaving a trace on your local harddrive, I would still be concerned that the information can be tracked at the server and/or firewall level. I\'m not a computer expert though.
as for a hockey pool site, I use TQStats. |

If the sites are blocked chances are that no matter which browser you use you\'ll get redirected to a page that says you can\'t go there. If the administrator did the job right.
But you might be able to punch a hole through the firewall, but then you open up yourself to big trouble when you get caught. If you look at the top of the dobber page there is a bar that says fantasyplayers.com and there is a drop down list of several site. Maybe one of them will work for you. If the company you work for is real tight about these things, don\'t tell anyone else in your office to use the site you eventually pick. The more hits to that site from any work machines the more of a chance that it will get picked up on a report. Once on a report then someone will notice and then add it to the list of sites to be barred. Doesn\'t matter what the site is. Post edited by: peekNpoke, at: 2007/09/12 23:03 |
