Wonder if you guys could help me out.

I\'m looking to startup an NHL Fantasy Hockey League. I\'d like to make it as realistic as possible, like running your own NHL franchise, but within the confines of Yahoo Pools.

Here\'s what I\'ve got:

Yahoo H2H, weekly rosters
10-12 teams to start
First season FREE, (entry fee and prizes in future seasons)
21 man active roster (pro team)
3xC,3xLW,3xRW,2xW,1xF,1xUtil,6xD,2xG
5 man bench (farm team)
NHL style salary cap (using NHLscap.com \"cap numbers\", $50.3m cap)
10 player keeper (6 active roster players + farm team)
Roster moves - LIMITED (15 - used mainly to get under the salary cap)
Trades - UNLIMITED
7 scoring stats (G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, SOG)
3 goalie stats (GAA, SV%, SO)

I\'d like to make it realistic, active and fun - so limiting the \"RULES\" is absolutely necessary.

RULE #1, If a player is dropped from a roster a GM cannot pick him up again (at least for the rest of the season, possibly forever)
RULE #2, During the season, teams cannot be above the salary cap (punishable by use of losing waiver priority, or potentially losing draft positioning, or possibly a keeper position).

*Any ideas to make this better without making it more complicated?

*How are the stats? A realistic reflection of a winning team?

*Interested in joining?
