I would prefer Toews in a keeper league. Havlat is too injury prone, and Kariya is a 75-point guy in St. Louis.

If your league is positional...EJ would be tempting. Lidstrom has only two more seasons left before he\'s back to Sweden. Pitkanen...bandaid boy.

not much info , but i agree that toews in a keeper league would be hard to pass up , i also like mcdonald.

i feel pretty safe with toews. it really came down to EJ or toews but i think toews is ready for the big time now and he can put in 70 points maybe. EJ will be good though too, i know a few people here were drawing similarities to Pronger....id hate to pass up on a chris pronger but toews is the man in chicago. put on a line with havlat, the two should be a nice duo. toews is my man, i think. thanks for the advice.

I have a bias to EJ if you are looking for a player who will be dominant at his position over the long term. As Dobber suggests there are inherent risks with Havlat and Pitkanen - just not worth the gamble even if the gamble happens to come home.

Havlat has always been frustrating in pools...too injury prone. I\'d go with Toews first, then EJ.
