Thanks Narayan. I scooped him up and im keeping an eye on Schneider.

After watching him against DETROIT of all teams, I was impressed. Thats no easy task to come in against the defending champs and win. Especially when you dont play all that often.

Ill agree with some of the earlier posts, Sanford is probably the guy in this case. Had Luongo\'s injury been months instead of weeks, then Schneider probably would have given more of a shot. But as it stands now, it will take a terrible game by Sanford for Schneider to get any meaningful ice time.

Vigneault has basically said that he is going to go with the hot goalie.

If I was making some predictions...

Sanford gets the start Thursday. If he plays spectacular, gets Saturday as well and then Schneider gets the next game. I think the team really wants to get a look at Schneider for a few reasons. To see if he really is NHL ready, and to increase his trade value.

But the name of the game is winning so those issues are probably secondary.

I wouldn\'t get too carried away with Sanford...I\'ve watched him in the past and he often starts off hot only to drop off big time after being given a \"starting\" role. Just look at his splits in previous seasons...

This has been mentioned before, but I highly doubt Schneider will ride the pine for long, otherwise they would have recalled a guy like Julien Ellis.
