I was playing hard to get, I think he made the trade because he had to offload Briere\'s $10million salary. My most expensive player was Gagne and with Briere on his team he had no chance of polling some more expensive players.... I used that to my advantage.... I am so happy!!!

One funny guy in the pool (he\'s been in this pool for 15 years and is considered somewhat of an expert). told me I was the loser in this trade.... The thing is 2 big poolers left this year so their players are up for grabs.

But since I traded last year Elias and Chara for his #1 pick I now get picks 2 and 3 in the first round!

This depends on if you have to have a certain number of defensemen and what your current defense prospects are, but unless I was in dire need of a top defenseman, I would not make this trade...I likely wouldn\'t in any case, there would likely be better ways of attaining a defenseman.
