watching the russian feed today of the super series, and there was a 2 on 1 break. What do they cut to? THE GUY IN THE PENALTY BOX ABOUT TO COME OUT! Missed the entire 2 on 1.

I\'m with you on that one...great camera work! You I hate to admit it, but I was kind of cheering for Russia, because at this point I just want good hockey. My brother had a good point that we might actually have a better series (history aside of course) of seeing Canada/US.
Oh well...I reckon its worth sleeping and missing the 3am game tomorrow... Ah and about Pierre Mcguire...still can\'t stand him...Canadian goes knee on knee with Russian not much said...the other way around and \"that\'s a dangerous play!\" Stupid dumbass I get sick of his biased commentary...and I support the same team.

Lanky.........
There\'s only one solution -- you\'ve got to move to Canada!!!! You\'d fit right in with us. Definitely look into satellite providers for the Centre Ice package -- I wouldn\'t be surprised if it\'s available in many U.S. cities through satellite. Post edited by: flanders, at: 2007/09/02 13:03

Just found out that Centre Ice is finally available where I live. But that means 200 for the package, plus another 100 for the digital cable box that I don\'t own, and then an increase of 20 per month to add the movie package as well or my wife won\'t go for it either.
Ugh,not sure. |

i advise you to go for it! if you are serious about your hockey pool, the availability of actually watching these teams play for yourself is THE best tool one can use. the hd programming was a disappointment, however, with not nearly enough games, and a lot of the games that were in hd were between weak teams

Good call on the HD, Chuckles.... Last season was better than the previous one. Most nights last year there were two or three HD Centre Ice games, while the previous season we were lucky to get 3 in a week. I\'m hoping that this season there are even more games in high defintion. You\'re also right that some of the weaker teams seemed to be in HD the most.... The Coyotes, for instance, seemed to be in HD all the time. Fortunately, the Pens were as well!!!!

At 700 bucks for an HD box there\'s no way I can go that route, as tempting as it might be for me.

yeah, so to get back on topic, with the advent of easily available hd, there is no need for networks to be zooming in all the time. even on wide angle shots you can see the numbers on sweaters, and thank foxtrax :P , also the puck moving around the ice.
