Default Projections - Zajac and Stoll

In a H2H Keeper that counts G/A/PPP/PIM/GWG/SHP +/-

Wondering what roles and pts totals to expect from Jarett Stoll C EDM and Travis Zajac C NJ.

Thanks

IF Stoll remains healthy then expect a pretty solid year from him. He\'s in a contract year as well so that might factor into a few extra points.

I\'d put him at 60-65 points for the year with him playing a lot on the second line and his PP time from the point as well. With Souray and Pitkanen now both manning the point on the PP though I do think his PP time will dip so maybe look for a little bit of a decline in his numbers there.

I\'ll let someone else who knows Zajac a little better comment on him.

zajac will be playing with any combination of parise, gionta, and elias...

With the departure of gomez, nj is lacking a marquis center. Zajac will be given more icetime this year, and will be given every opportunity to succeed.

I could see 45-55 points out of him this year, with an outside chance at 60+ or so if he supplants zubrus on the top line and/or lands on the top powerplay unit... it is new jersey though, so his point production will be somewhat limited by their defensive scheme.

Losing the puckmoving rafalski won\'t help either.

Isn\'t the NJ top line going to be Gionta Parise Elias with Zubrus taking the 2nd line C and Zajac either the 3rd and moving up as the yr moves on, or Zajac taking the 2nd line C and Zubrus the 2nd line RW?

NJ will probably seperate Parise/Elias. They did last year. Look for Elias and Gionta to probably play on one line with Parise/Zajac on another.

Those 3 will probably be on the top unit PP though. 2 goal scorers and a pplay maker. I really think that losing Rafalski will be huge for the DDevils PP.
